I had a great experience at the Pound Orchard B&B in East Meon. I went on a team-building trip to Meon Springs. It was lovely to have a warm bed, hot shower and lovely breakfast, with excellent coffee, just 6mins away. I would recommend it. Thanks, Wendy and Ron! :)

We had a very enjoyable two night stay at Pound Orchard and had our first experience of an eco-home. Our room and bathroom could not have been cleaner or better-equipped and we appreciated the sourdough toast and individually blended coffee at breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming hosts too. Nearby activities: East Meon is an unspoilt village set in fine countryside.

Roomy and clean. Just perfect room. Eco friendly house. Wendy and Ron made us feel at home. We booked for one night, but because of their hospitality we booked an extra night.

Lovely stay at Wendy and Ron’s B&B. Very attentive and thoughtful hosts, they even offered to drive us to the next village which was very kind given there were no taxi around. The room is so cosy and very functional with everything you need. Pub next door is great for a drink or a nice dinner! Would love to come back to explore the region!

What a wonderful place to stay. Wendy and Ron couldn’t have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was absolutely beautiful with everything we could possibly need during our stay. We first heard about picturesque East Meon on a television program and Pound Orchard popped up when we searched for accommodation in the village. Wendy and Ron are warm, relaxed, accommodating, generous, engaging and friendly hosts and their extraordinary home is a real labour of love with the hallmarks of sustainability. We enjoyed hearing about its history and their journey to where they are now. Our beautiful balcony room and ensuite bathroom oozed quality and were well furnished, modern, immaculate, comfortable and well stocked with beverages/nibbles and washing items . The seating provided on the balcony is also a lovely way to soak in the atmosphere of the village. The breakfast spread was generous and Ron's top notch coffee went down a treat. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Wendy and Ron and listening to stories about their travels and hope to return in the not too distant future.

What a great experience at Pound Orchard B&B. Our room was more comfortable and well decorated than most hotel rooms I've stayed in. Breakfast was lovely too! The village of East Meon is picturesque and surrounding countryside makes for excellent walking, with plenty characterful pubs to plan a day out around. You're also very close the sea which you can see from the top of the hill on a clear day. Would absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone who enjoys stunning countryside and luxury accommodation. Thank you xx

Had an absolutely wonderful stay with Wendy & Ron at the Pound Orchard in East Meon. We were a group taking two rooms - both of them finished to an excellent standard. The house is gorgeous and very well situated in the centre of the village right next to a pub with delicious food and parking which took away any logistical stress. Wendy & Ron were great hosts - warm and welcoming, making us feel extremely comfortable (and well fed at breakfast!). Highly recommend this B&B to all!

We had a lovely stay @ Wendy & Ron’s beautiful home situated in the middle of the picturesque village of East Meon. Spacious comfortable and beautifully decorated bedroom and lovely well appointed ensuite. Breakfast was a delight and Ron’s coffee excellent. Two great pubs in the village to choose from for dinner. We loved it and will stay again.

I have had a great stay with Wendy & Ron at the Pound Orchard in East Meon. The room was extremely clean and very well presented. The house is amazing and Wendy & Ron are the perfect hosts, Very friendly and helpful. All safety precautions are in place for covid. East Meon is a stunning village and is Perfect location for walkers who would like to explore the South Downs. Two pubs in the village which do good food and have a very welcoming atmosphere. 100% I would stay here again at the Pound Orchard and hope to in the near future. Thank you, Chris
